AUTUMN 2026

Sacred Circle: All Gender Edition is an experiential and educational program for neurocomplex and highly sensitive youth aged 11-14, devoted to fostering nervous system awareness, emotional resiliency, social connection, and kinship with their inner selves.

Does your child experience or struggle with:

  • Emotional sensitivity (feels things deeply and/or has big emotional responses)?

  • Physical sensitivity (easily affected by bright light, loud noises, overstimulating environments, etc.)?

  • A contemplative nature and/or considerable mental and emotional processing?

  • Heightened perception and observation skills?

  • High awareness of and concern for the needs and feelings of others/the world at large?

  • Overwhelm or anxiety?

  • Difficulty navigating transitions or changes?

  • A sense of being different than peers; lack of belonging?

If you answered “yes” to any or all of the above, then Sacred Circle is for your child!

In our six sessions together, participants will:

  • Co-create a safe and joyful space for authentic connection, personal sharing, and witnessing one another

  • Learn about the nervous system and its role in emotional responses, developing awareness of their own system and patterns

  • Understand their neurocomplexity and high sensitivity through a physiological lens

  • Become skilled at using somatic (body-based) practices to navigate stressful situations and big feelings in healthy ways

  • Engage in guided meditation, journaling, group discussion, and activities for introspection

  • Connect with their intuition, explore how to nurture it, and build greater self-trust

  • Engage meaningfully with like-minded peers to cultivate friendship and belonging

  • Be welcomed and celebrated exactly as they are

Meredith, thank you so much for creating this wonderful circle! It really helped me through so many of my problems. You’ve created a healthy and amazing environment we can mature and grow in. I really hope something fun like this can happen again.

—Amélie H., 13, Sacred Circle participant

HI, I’M MEREDITH

A BIT ABOUT ME & THIS PROGRAM

What parents and participants are saying:

  • "Throughout Circle I learned how to express myself, I made such a tight bond with the other girls, and I learned how to cope. At Circle you created an environment where I and all the other girls could express ourselves freely. I’m really happy that I met you! You didn’t treat me like I was a child that was ‘just growing up,’ you treated me with respect, and you made sure I felt seen.”

—Amélie, 13, Sacred Circle for Girls

  • "Our experience with Meredith was wonderful. She was able to create a welcoming, warm, and safe space for our girls to be themselves as well as to go deeper and explore their inner workings. She was also able to create a perfect balance between fun, "doing the work" and learning. Our girls also really enjoyed being around her because she had great energy!"

—Maria L., parent, Sacred Circle for Girls

  • “Through Circle, I have learned that I can be soft and strong at the same time. I have also learned that emotion shouldn’t be something to be ashamed of and that it is beautiful to feel deeply. I am more in touch with my higher self and trusting that I am where I need to be in this moment.”

—Violet O., 14 , Sacred Circle for Girls

  • “Sacred Circle let me be deep without feeling ashamed or cringe. It was beautifully vulnerable.”

—Arielle, 13, Sacred Circle for Girls

  • “After Circle, I feel like it’s way easier to get in a meditative state, and I just feel better overall.”

Somer, 13, Sacred Circle: All Gender Edition

  • “Through Circle, I have learned lots of new skills and techniques. It’s always really calming and helpful.”

Gracelyn, 14, Sacred Circle: All Gender Edition

  • "Sacred Circle for Girls is a safe and comfortable space for girls to express themselves, hold space for others, and help understand and accept themselves. This program encouraged my daughter to be more confident in herself and even make friends within the group. Meredith's support is appreciated and my daughter is looking forward to joining the group again!"

My Background

Teaching and engaging with youth has been at the forefront of my work since before I formally entered the workforce. While the content of my teaching has evolved over time, I have consistently been driven to facilitate experiences in which others feel enriched in their connections with themselves, their communities, and the world around them.

I have been working explicitly in the mental health field since 2023, with a focus on somatics, the nervous system, and supporting highly sensitive people. I have guest taught at Rainbow Community/Omega Middle School in Asheville, NC, and have independently facilitated multiple cohorts of Sacred Circle. Over the course of my career, I have taught youth in contemporary art museums, Sunday school at synagogues, and independently organized programs.

Credentials

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, and have called London, the Bay Area, and Asheville home. With a background in contemporary art, holistic nutrition, teaching, and mental health, I have lived what feels like many lives. Here are highlights from my personal training and professional career.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

  • Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy Certificate. The Embody Lab, 2023-ongoing.

  • Freedom from Relationship Anxiety, a somatic attachment theory program. Sheleana Aiyana, February 2025.

  • Certified Facilitator, Breathwork and Energy Medicine. Jessica Ricchetti, June 2023.

  • “The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma,” Virtual workshop. Bessel van der Kolk, Kripalu Center, February 2021.

  • Astrology. Independent study and under the tutelage of Kristen Dessange, 2017-ongoing.

  • Masters of Arts with Distinction, Contemporary Art Theory. Goldsmiths College, University of London. London, UK. 2012.

  • Bachelor of Arts, Sociology and Gender & Sexuality Studies. Bard College. Hudson Valley, NY. 2009.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • I currently teach Somatic Relief at the Reuter Family Y and lead meditation and workshops at Asheville Community Yoga. Join me there!

  • In 2024, I worked at an in-patient mental health facility in Asheville, NC, leading activities and providing crisis support for patients with a variety of acute mental health struggles.

  • 2016-2022, I worked full-time as the Product Marketing Manager at a superfoods company. I also led meditation for four years as part of the company’s wellness program.

  • In my early career, I worked with youth and adults in contemporary art education at institutions including the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) and The Getty Center in Los Angeles, CA, and the Serpentine Gallery in London, UK.
